To achieve FairWind’s ambition of becoming a global provider of our solutions within service and installation of onshore and offshore wind turbines, FairWind has acquired EU Montage in the U.S.

With more than 50 employees and a customer base that includes some of the biggest names in the market, EUM US Inc. has provided its customers with scheduled service, supervision, commissioning and blades repair.

“FairWind sees massive potential in the US market, and by buying an existing company with a good track record, we get the chance to accelerate our market entry,” said Steffen Steffensen, Partner and Chairman of the Board at FairWind.

Expansion and maintaining a market leading performance will be key to FairWind in the US. Daily management of EUM US will stay the same, led by Uffe Steen Kristiansen, Vice President of Sales & Operations.

No matter in which market our customers cooperate with FairWind, it is always our ambition to deliver the same high level of safety, quality, performance and customer satisfaction. This will certainly also be the case in the US market as well.

This year in April, FairWind opens our new academy in Szczecin, Poland. We will become GWO-approved, and deliver market leading internal training. This will enable us to be even more flexible, reliable and cost efficient. Our academy will play an important role in integrating FairWind staff around the globe.

Since FairWind’s founding only eight years ago, we have established a presence in 24 countries, four continents and we operate a pool of approximately 750 highly skilled technicians. Our customers are to be found among the top five OEMs in the industry, and our range of services includes everything from complete installation packages to complex trouble shooting and full O&M.
