2020 the Biggest Year in FairWind History

FairWind celebrates an important milestone as 2020 was the company’s biggest year ever in terms of volume and scale. We installed over 4 GW in onshore wind turbines and performed 450,000 Service hours, totaling 10 GW installation and over one million hours service over the last three years.

Additionally, the company has made significant gains in Offshore, providing pre-assembly for 100 wind turbine generators in 2020, and Electrical and High Voltage, totaling over 40,000 hours on electrical work on foundations alone.

This shows FairWind is closer than ever to fulfilling our vision of “growing to be the global leader within installation and service of wind turbines based on our commitment to green transformation on Earth.”

Concurrent with our increase in volume was also an expansion of our global presence and regional structure.

In fact, FairWind has worked in over 40 markets with major offices in Denmark, Poland, The United States, Madrid, and Kyiv. Our newest regional office opened in Taiwan in 2019, and last year FairWind entered the Australian market with our first project at Warradarge.

As FairWind expands our global reach, we provide work opportunities in the markets we enter, now including 1300 technicians from over 25 countries.

We develop their skills with training provided by European Wind Academy, one of the top 10 GWO providers in the world, and internally empower our employees through our Performance Academy education program.

Thus, through our business activities, FairWind directly supports the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals of Quality Education, and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
