Description:
FairWind was involved in pre-assembly of 47 Siemens 7 MW offshore turbines for Walney Extension, the largest offshore wind farm in the world.
Pre-assembly was conducted at Belfast Harbour in the United Kingdom, where weather conditions heavily challenged our assembly teams.
High winds at the harbour usually meant that installation ships were completing their work faster due to better conditions out at sea. In spite of this, our teams made every deadline for load-outs, ensuring weather did not delay the project.
FairWind was able to provide the highest level of quality – with zero snagging points on every turbine delivered.
