Due to our ongoing growth and focus on enhancing organizational efficiency, we are seeking a candidate to lead a Purchase department within our company.
As a Procurement Manager in FairWind You will be managing and supervising the company’s purchasing processes and policy in the NCE Region. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all necessary products, goods, and services on time with the best possible quality and the most optimal cost.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes for acquisition of all Goods, Tools, Equipment and Services required for the execution of Company’s project portfolio, meeting the project’s budget and timeline
- Executing purchase orders and deliveries in line with agreed pipeline/forecast (Planning).
- Implementation of purchasing / operating systems and processes in all regions / departments under the control.
- Active research of markets for building a long-term procurement and supply strategy securing access to the best possible market conditions.
- Conduct Investment risk analysis and business cases for acquisition of new goods, products and services. Based on the expected return of investment and available budgets.
- Ensure that orders are placed and delivered correctly, timely and in full.
- Driving cost savings from the budget baseline.
- Create and maintain relationships between key stakeholders and the supply chain.
- Direct cooperation with functional teams in order to achieve the set goals of the project.
- Strengthening cooperation between suppliers, global procurement and projects.
- Ensuring quality and standards according to project requirements and company standards.
- Analysis, identification, development and implementation of procurement procedures in accordance with ISO requirements.
- Securing periodic performance feedback on supplies, together with BU representatives, close the gaps identified to ensure expectations are met.
- Other ad hoc duties.
Skills / qualifications required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Procurement Manager
- Proven track record in negotiations and purchasing
- Skilled in developing and executing purchasing strategies aligned with business goals and company policies
- Ability to prioritize and handle urgent, critical matters effectively
- Proven ability to create and lead multidisciplinary high-performance teams in the procurement field.
- Strong multitasking skills, with a broad perspective and accountability in decision-making
- Goal-oriented, focused on cost optimization while maintaining high-quality standards
- Dynamic, proactive, and leadership-driven with team management experience
- Fluent in English
