Due to our ongoing growth and focus on enhancing organizational efficiency, we are seeking a candidate to lead a key department within our company in the role of Head of Supply Chain.

As a Head of Supply Chain in FairWind You will be Responsible for the correct and optimal operation, as well as definition and implementation of procedures in the Regional Supply Chain Management process, including the areas of – procurement, warehouse, fleet, travel, and facilities management.

Responsibilities:

  • Supply chain management in the scope of subordinate departments (Warehouse, Procurement, Fleet, Travel, Facilities).
  • Management and development of employees of subordinate departments and their tasks.
  • Cooperation with other departments and employees as well as subcontractors to achieve common goals and projects and to integrate processes and ensure effective communication between departments.
  • Development and improvement of working processes in all subordinate departments.
  • Strategic development, formulate long-term strategies for his departments that align with Fairwinds’s overall strategy.
  • Coordination and supervision of all activities in the Supply Chain Management function, including budget control, correct flow of information between subordinate departments and the rest of the organization, as well as with third parties.
  • Defining strategic goals for each of the subordinate departments and supervising the implementation of the strategy within the defined budget.
  • Maintaining and ongoing cost control in accordance with the established budget.
  • Investment risk analysis.
  • Negotiation of framework agreements with suppliers.
  • KPI reporting especially on savings and cost avoidance.
  • Manage QHSE standards as required by law.
  • Optimize logistic processes.
  • ATA Carnet process supervision.
  • Evaluation and development of warehouse systems, controlling of the data and contact with developer.
  • Technology and Digitalization, Implement and manage new technologies and tools for automating and optimizing processes in FWL
  • Other duties ad hoc, Undertake any other duties or projects that may be reasonably required by the management or that may be reasonably foreseen through changing business needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on a similar position – Supply Chain Management Responsible (preferably in the Wind Service industry or similar)
  • Proven Experience with warehouse management
  • ERP Systems proficient user – experience with work and implementation
  • Experience with export processes – solid knowledge regarding rules and regulations
  • Solid knowledge regarding financial rules and procedures – experience with finance document – export/import/customs
  • Proven track record in successful negotiations with suppliers, providing savings and quality improvement, in line with Company and Regional goals.
  • Effective leadership skills to identify, develop and coach talent, ensuring formation of high-performance teams in the areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle urgent, critical matters effectively
  • Strong multitasking skills, with a broad perspective and accountability in decision-making
  • Goal-oriented, focused on cost optimization while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Dynamic, proactive, and leadership-driven with team management experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience or work in matrix build organization type
