Leveraging and building on the core strengths and capabilities of EWA and the dominant market position of FairWind, we are looking to significantly grow and expand both our training portfolio and geographical training footprint.

We are in this respect looking for a business development-focused Director of Training based in Szczecin Poland.

Reporting to the COO Service, and in close cooperation with our Regional Directors, you will

  • Ensure EWA and all future FairWind Group training centres operate at best-in-class safety- and quality levels
  • Drive the expansion of the FairWind Group training activities.
  • Establish, develop and maintain key strategic relationships with OEMs, GWO and other relevant organisations, subcontractors, authorities, peers, external customers, and internal FairWind stakeholders.
  • Develop and expand both the physical- and virtual training portfolio.
  • Act as key account manager for OEM’s and other key external customers
  • Work closely with Academy Managers on optimizing planning and execution across all facilities and serve as SME for all required certifications and audits

What we expect from you:

  • Significant experience in developing and/or executing technical training.
  • A Bachelor- or Masters degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years proven management track record
  • English at negotiation level – written and spoken
  • Strong sales/lobbying/negotiation/communication skills
  • Good financial acumen
  • Good technical awareness and practical knowledge of HSE and Quality standards
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 60 days annually – potentially more depending on location.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in an ever-changing environment.
  • The ability to continuously challenge the status-quo and develop new practices, policies, and procedures.
  • A background in the Wind Industry – and Wind Training specifically – is a clear advantage, but not an outright requirement.
  • Goal orientation with a can-do attitude
