Description
We are looking for a Communications Advisor to join our team and play a key role in shaping and delivering our internal and external communications strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that supports business objectives and enhances brand messaging across multiple platforms. If you have a passion for storytelling, strong writing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and distribute internal communications content in collaboration with business functions.
- Work alongside the Marketing Advisor to create compelling content for social media and the company website.
- Support the development and execution of an internal communications strategy.
- Manage content and improve user experience on the company’s SharePoint intranet site.
- Advise on and assist in the implementation of new internal communication channels.
- Support public relations (PR) activities and media relations efforts.
- Monitor and analyse media coverage to provide insights and recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven experience in a similar communications role.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- Experience in creating content tailored for different audiences and communication channels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align content with marketing and communication goals.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in internal communications, particularly engaging a front-line workforce.
- Familiarity with SharePoint for content management.
- A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience working with external agencies.
