Description

 

The Global Resource Management team at FairWind is responsible for optimizing resource planning by aligning our wind turbine technician workforce with customer demand across regions and business units.

We are now hiring for a rescoped and hence new role as Global Product Owner for our recently implemented planning system, Shoreline. Since the system went live in April, we have entered the system transition phase and are moving steadily into operations. The Shoreline system aims to enhance business processes and enable data-driven decision-making, while balancing a consistent global approach with local flexibility. The Global Product Owner will take full responsibility and accountability for system-related actions.

Your qualifications

 

You will be based in our Szczecin office and collaborate closely with colleagues across the Global Resource Management team. They will actively support your onboarding, act as daily sparring partners, and help you become familiar with the wind industry, our business planning processes, and the Shoreline system. Your direct manager, the Global Director of Resource Management, is based in Denmark but visits Szczecin regularly—at least once a month.

Qualifications & Skills:.

  • Proven track record of successful IT system implementations and system transitions
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills to ensure timely project delivery
  • Proficient in documenting system processes, creating user manuals, and leading training and intro sessions
  • Demonstrates ownership and initiative in driving tasks and continuous product improvement

Your Role

 

  • Maintain and update the overall product plan to ensure a smooth and timely system transition
  • Identify and define product improvements based on super user needs and business objectives, and drive initial prioritization
  • Coordinate mock-up sessions and User Acceptance Tests between the external vendor (Shoreline) and FairWind stakeholders
  • Define and own the governance processes (e.g., who decides on change requests, version releases, etc.)
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and external vendors to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
  • Serve as a super user by providing training, documentation, and support to facilitate successful system adoption
  • Act as a system ambassador, clearly communicating Shoreline functionalities across teams
  • Map integration and touchpoints between Shoreline and other systems to support IT teams
  • Monitor system performance and gather user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues and implement corrective actions
