Reporting to the Head of the Service Business Unit, you will independently secure, plan, and execute projects ranging from single-turbine installations to larger scale projects. This typically includes all manpower, cranes, transport, and logistics.
Based in either Szczecin, Poland or our head office in Vejle, Denmark, your primary focus will be on repowering, life extension projects, and reinstallation of pre-owned turbines, but you should also expect to support your colleagues on other Service projects in periods with low repowering workload.
You will actively leverage your network to canvass the market for opportunities, take the lead on responding to RFQ’s, negotiate contracts with customers and contractors in close co-operation with other FairWind departments, and plan and execute the projects on site.
You should expect roughly 80-100 travel days annually; mainly to sites and between our main offices in Poland and Denmark.
You ideally have a relevant technical education with several years on-site experience from installation, commissioning and/or service from one or more of the major wind turbine OEM’s or subcontractors; coupled with hands-on project management experience. You have in-debt knowledge and experience with QHSE.
Valid GWO certificates and a project management certification would be an advantage but not a requirement, as would experience with transport of oversize cargo and complex contracts.
As a person, you are self-motivated and strike the balance between being well organized and thriving in an often hectic environment. You have an outgoing personality and are at ease both when negotiating with customers and engaging with technicians on site.
