Description

We are looking for experienced Wind Turbine Technicians to join our Maintenance, Commissioning and Evaluation (MCE) team or to work as Trouble Shooters.

As a FairWind Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and fault-finding activities on Vestas wind turbines.

Your qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Vestas wind turbines
Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting
Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work at height and under various weather conditions
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Valid driver’s license
100% availability to travel

Relevant Certifications

Valid Global Wind Organization (GWO) certification
Other relevant certifications within the wind industry are an advantage

Your Role

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on wind turbines
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Carry out commissioning of new turbines, ensuring compliance with operational standards
Perform troubleshooting activities to resolve turbine failures and breakdowns
Collaborate with the control center to resolve incidents quickly and effectively
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company and industry standards
Maintain accurate and detailed records of completed work and used spare parts
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance turbine performance and reliability
