Description

We are looking for experienced and highly qualified High Voltage (HV) Technicians, specialized in systems above 50 kV, to join our global operations team.

You will work on high-visibility projects, including wind farms and electrical infrastructure projects across multiple countries.

This is a hands-on, mobile role, ideal for professionals who enjoy traveling, taking on-site supervisory responsibilities, and holding direct technical accountability in complex electrical environments.

Your qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in High Voltage installations (33 kV or higher)
  • Proven experience in cable pulling, switchgear installation, terminations, and energization
  • Ability to lead and supervise teams in international project environments
  • Hands-on experience with VLF testing, pressurization, injection testing, and final commissioning
  • Strong knowledge of international EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards and safe working practices

 

Preferred Certifications/Training

  • High Voltage Cable Training (Nexans / NKT / Prysmian or equivalent – including 66/72 kV systems)
  • HV Safe Work certification
  • 8VM1 switchgear training (or equivalent equipment)
  • Transformer training (Siemens Weiz, Hitachi, or similar)
  • Phister certification
  • LOTO (Lock Out / Tag Out) authorization
  • Switching / operating authorization

 

Preferred Experience

  • High Voltage installation projects in offshore and/or onshore wind farms
  • High Voltage electrical installations in power plants or substations
  • Previous experience as an industrial electrician or energy sector electrician prior to specializing in High Voltage systems

Your Role

  • Supervise routing, installation, and termination of High Voltage cables on switchgear and transformers
  • Perform pressurization of High Voltage equipment using SF₆ or Clean Air systems
  • Carry out VLF testing, primary and secondary injection tests, and HV fault diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Execute on-site energization of wind turbines and grid-connection assets
  • Plan and manage daily site activities, including team allocation and material logistics
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, applicable regulations, and client-specific requirements
  • Work closely with client representatives, site managers, and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality deliveries within agreed timelines
