Description

FairWind is seeking a dedicated and driven ESG Coordinator to support and strengthen our sustainability efforts. In this role, you will collaborate across departments to implement ESG strategies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and promote a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.

Your qualifications

  • Degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in sustainability or environmental matters.
  • English language skills at an advanced level.
  • Passion for sustainability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and sustainability reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of HSEQ policies and a proactive attitude toward compliance and improvement.

Your Role

  • Provide professional support and advice on ESG matters to the business.
  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of FairWind’s sustainability strategy, goals, and targets.
  • Promote and help embed ESG culture within the organization.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with European sustainability directives, such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
  • Assist in preparing ESG disclosures and the company’s sustainability report.
  • Support ESG audits.
  • Measure, report, and monitor key sustainability performance indicators (e.g., GHG emissions, energy usage).
  • Support quarterly ESG performance reporting to external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on sustainability regulations, trends, and best practices.
  • Represent FairWind in ESG industry forums and communicate insights internally.
  • Perform other relevant duties within your capabilities.
